Our Library provides a welcoming
and supportive environment
Which promotes a love of books and reading.
ABOUT OUR LIBRARY
We have a comprehensive collection of resources including picture books, fiction, Lexile books, graphic novels, and non-fiction books.
Our collection is regularly updated with the latest, popular books and 90% of our purchases are suggested by our children.
If we don’t have a particular book, we also borrow from our local Public Library.
We also have an extensive reference collection to support our teachers and educators.
Classes visit the library once a week to borrow and return, with Preschool visiting a few times a term. Children can independently borrow books at any time.
To foster a love of literature and learning we also participate in the CBCA Book Week, Premier’s Reading Challenge, competitions, and Scholastic Book Club.
As well as games and puzzles for the children to use, we have a lunchtime Lego Club once a week.
Children design Lego creations or build one of the Lego sets, which is them displayed in the library foyer, Lego cabinet. You’re welcome to come in and have a look.
Families are welcome to borrow from our Library. Our librarian, Sue, will be happy to organize a borrowing card for you.
